How to whitelist Fighters Choice emails

HOW TO WHITELIST FIGHTERS CHOICE EMAILS

Mail services such as Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo block certain emails in an attempt to filter out scams, spam and phishing. This often includes marketing emails that you have subscribed. Fortunately, there is a way around it!

Whitelisting an email address in Gmail:

MARK IT AS NOT SPAM

  1. Sign in to your Gmail account
  2. Add the email that you want to whitelist to your contacts
  3. Mark the message as ‘Not Spam’
  4. Go to the spam folder
  5. Search for email address you want to whitelist, for example, support@fighterschoice.com
  6. Click select on all the emails in search results
  7. Click on ‘More’, then click on ‘Not spam’

CREATE A FILTER TO WHITELIST THE EMAIL ADDRESS

  1. Select the cog icon in the top-right corner of your screen, then click Settings
  2. Select ‘Filters’, then select ‘Create a new filter’
  3. Type in the domain, for example, fighterschoice.com in the ‘From’ field or enter the email address that you wish to whitelist in the ‘To’ field, for example,  support@fighterschoice.com
  4. Select ‘Create filter’ with this search
  5. In the box titled ‘When a message arrives that matches this search’ select ‘Never send it to spam’
  6. Click on the ‘Create filter’ option

This will effectively whitelist Fighters Choice and move all emails to your primary inbox.

Important things to remember:

  • Do not enter email addresses in both the ‘To’ and ‘From’ fields; Gmail will only filter emails that meet both criteria
  • You can enter either a specific email address or an entire domain in both the ‘To’ and ‘From’ fields
  • To enter multiple domains in each field separate them with OR as in “fighterschoice.com OR domain.com”

Whitelisting an email address in Outlook, Hotmail MSN, Windows Live Mail:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Add the email address to your contact list

ADD THE ADDRESS TO YOUR SAFE SENDERS

  1. In settings, select the cog icon in the top-right corner of your screen, then ‘More’
  2. Click ‘Safe and blocked senders’, then ‘Safe senders’
  3. Add the domain of the email address to the list of Safe senders

This will effectively whitelist an email in Outlook.

  • In both the ‘Safe mailing lists’ and ‘Safe senders’, you can type in either a domain or email address
  • In both the ‘Safe mailing lists’ and ‘Safe senders’, you can enter more than one email address or domain
